Discover Saint Ambrose Catholic School: Nurturing Minds and Spirits for Over 60 Years
For six decades, Saint Ambrose Catholic School has been a cherished educational haven within the Archdiocese of Miami, a true hidden gem dedicated to shaping young hearts and minds. Our Our Catholic Identity is at the core of everything we do, woven seamlessly into every moment of the school day. Inspired by the gifts of the Holy Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord—our devoted educators are guided by a profound sense of vocation.
Academic Excellence in a Dynamic Learning Environment
At Saint Ambrose, we are committed to providing a rigorous and evolving curriculum that not only challenges students but also empowers them to become leaders and active, compassionate contributors to the world. We embrace modern learning: our middle school features a 1:1 Chromebook program powered by Google Classroom, while students in Kindergarten through fifth grade engage with learning through a blend of iPads or Chromebooks and hands-on activities. We're constantly enhancing our programs, with coding integrated across all grades and a significantly improved science lab designed to spark curiosity and innovation.
Developing the Whole Individual
Education at Saint Ambrose extends far beyond academics. We offer a rich array of programs designed to develop the whole individual, fostering personal growth and community spirit. Students can participate in Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Yoga, and Bible Study. For those who love to compete, our sports programs include flag football, basketball, and volleyball.
A Welcoming Community Where Every Student Thrives
We believe in fostering an environment where every student is challenged, and every difference is valued. Saint Ambrose Catholic School proudly welcomes students of all denominations. While daily religion classes and weekly masses are integral to our school experience, we invite all students to learn about and embrace our Catholic faith. Catholic students in 2nd grade celebrate their First Holy Communion, and our Catholic 8th graders receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
We offer open enrollment for students in PK3 through 8th grade, provide convenient Sunshine Child Program for After School Care, and even host a Free Voluntary Pre-K program (VPK)!
