Welcome from Our Pastor
I would like to personally extend a warm welcome to Saint Ambrose parish and school. Our community is filled with friendly faces and open arms to all new parishioners, students, and their families. We are truly blessed to be able to partner with our families on their journey as they educate their children in the Catholic faith. Attending a Catholic school is only one facet of the education within the Catholic church; regular Sunday mass attendance is a vital experience in our faith as it builds the community in Christ and demonstrates the faith formation of service and belonging within our faith.
As parents, you are the primary educators of your children in fostering their spiritual growth. We provide the tools and the opportunities, and you facilitate their development. Saint Ambrose School provides our children with the opportunity to prepare and participate in the sacraments of Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. We celebrate mass as a school on a weekly basis during school hours and rejoice when we see their eager, smiling faces with you, on the weekends. With Men’s Club, Women’s Club, Bingo, Carnival, and our very own Food Pantry, we offer a faith and service-based community for you and your family to walk with Christ with your time, your talents, or even your treasures. Welcome to Saint Ambrose! |
Welcome from Our Principal

It is an honor to be the principal of St. Ambrose Catholic School! My 20 years of experience in both the Archdiocese of Miami as well as the public schools, combined with my degrees and specialties, serve me well in this challenging position of leading our school into the 21st century.
As I embarked upon my mission as principal in 2013-2014, I had a number of goals set: employ certified, Catholic educators; improve the technology from its foundation; and provide a safe and secure school for our students. In the past 7 years in this role, each of these goals have been achieved, new goals were set, and each new goal has been surpassed. From an improved and live-monitored security camera system, to 1:1 Chromebook devices in our middle school, 5th and 3rd grades, 1:1 iPad devices in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, iPad carts and NEW SMART Boards in every classroom, to a professional and caring faculty and staff, Saint Ambrose School has grown exponentially. The growth does not stop, even with a pandemic. In mere hours, our school was able to successfully transition into a virtual environment in the Spring of 2020. Since then, we have opened our doors to both virtual and remote students alike, providing simultaneous learning. Our faculty and staff have gone above and beyond in their vocation as teachers, providing a Catholic learning environment, centered on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I believe that education is a lifelong process and we embody this vision as a community.
The cornerstone of our community of learners is our Catholic identity. Catholic education centers on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ in the formal educational settings that promote the necessary skills, knowledge, and values to become productive and successful members of society. St Ambrose School recognizes that each child is created by God and every child's possess special gifts and needs which must be addressed in their learning process. As a product of Catholic school myself, and the parent to two wonderful children who are also Catholic school graduates, the significance of the gift of a Catholic education is paramount to Saint Ambrose School. My greatest joys now include welcoming back our numerous alumni, as they share their successes in their lives after graduation.
I look forward to meeting our prospective families as they seek our community to be there community. Welcome to the Saint Ambrose family!
